Korean Vocabulary: 흥분을 가라앉히다

It is not enough to learn Korean grammar and sentence patterns. Without enough vocabulary, we cannot form sentences. It is also important to learn phrases and collocations instead of just words as Korean is rich in vocabulary influenced by culture and entirely different from that of our native language. to calm down

팔짱을 끼다
to cross one's arm with another

왜 이렇게 팔짱을 끼고 난리네?
What's wrong with you? Stop holding my arm.

말이 틀리다
to be wrong in one's statement

왜! 내 말이 틀렸습니까?
What? Am I wrong?

전쟁 나다
to cause a war to happen

서로 선만 잘 지키면 ‎전쟁 날 일 없으니까 주의 부탁할게요.
As long as we don't cross the line, there won't be any war. So please be careful.
